Paige Turner is a married mother of two currently retired after a more than three-decade teaching career that included kindergarten, French, physical education. Paige lives with her husband, Bryan, of thirty-two years in their native Atlanta. She has published her latest book “Acrobatic Amy”: an entertaining and educational tool for pre-school and elementary aged children.
“Acrobatic Amy” is a children’s poetry book that lends itself as an excellent teaching tool for many facets of the English language. Targeting grades K–3, young students will learn alphabetical order, short and long vowels, rhyme, rhythm, and alliteration.
In addition, children can be guided in character building based upon the varied personalities represented in each poem. Second and third grade students can take on the challenge of writing their own poems.
At the end of the book, there are helpful teaching points to assist beginning teachers, homeschoolers, and parents. This book is intended to provide valuable language skills, lighthearted poetry, and hopefully many giggles as well!
Published by Page Publishing, Paige Turner’s entertaining book is a delightful addition to any home- or school-based children’s library.
Readers who wish to experience this engaging work can purchase“Acrobatic Amy” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
