Renita Kizer is a married mother and grandmother who was born and raised in Gary, Indiana currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, where she enjoys reading and relaxing on the beach. She has published her new book “La Lumière”: a rhyming tale beautifully illustrated by the author.

The author shares, “‘La Lumière’, meaning light in French, is about a firefly who loves life and enjoys adventure. Vita, her name, means life in Latin. She flies through the night, preparing a light show for her friends. A bright light appears that changes everything. Vita is no longer focusing on her friends, who still enjoy what they think is an exciting show.

The book creates a whimsical and heartwarming story about when someone you love is gone but not forgotten. When my sister passed away four years ago, I wanted to express that very sentiment I was able to do that in this story.”
Published by Page Publishing, Renita Kizer’s engrossing book is a delightful addition to any children’s library.

Readers who wish to experience this engaging work can purchase “La Lumière” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
