West Virginia Insurance Group, a regional insurance and financial planning provider that works with families and business owners throughout the River Cities region, is announcing a charity drive in conjunction with Bright Futures Learning Services to benefit local children with autism

West Virginia Insurance Group, a Huntington area firm provide insurance, financial planning, and related services to communities in the Tri-State area, is embarking on a joint charity drive with Bright Futures Learning Services to provide support and assistance to children along the full spectrum of autism.

Bright Futures Learning Services offers a broad range of programs designed to help children with autism and their families learn together. Programs provided are centered on four crucial building blocks: communication, social skills, self-help, and conceptual/academic pursuits, and all program sets are tailored to the individual needs of each participating family.

“There are many ways we can get involved, help children with autism, and learn from them every day,” explains Keefe Duterte, the founder and chief executive of West Virginia Insurance Group.

Duterte and his team are reaching out to local families, associates, friends, and educational professionals over email and social media channels in an effort to promote the three month long charity event benefitting Bright Futures Learning Services. Additional publicity for the event is planned in the form of a cover article set to be released in the newest issue of “Our Hometown,” a Huntington area online magazine published by the Duterte team: http://wvinsurancegroup.com/magazines.

This is only the first of many charity events planned by the West Virginia Insurance Group as part of their ongoing mission to support the national Agents of Change charity assistance coalition. Over the months to come, Duterte and his team will be selecting and working with new charitable causes in West Virginia on a quarterly basis.
