LAKE TAHOE, Nev., Feb. 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- AV Programming Associates (AVPA), an independent Crestron and Extron programming company, announced recently that they have completed a pilot program to update the video conferencing systems in multiple TD Ameritrade offices with the latest Crestron module.
TD Ameritrade has offices around the United States and relies heavily on video conferencing for interoffice communication, as well as external communication. The company was looking to upgrade their video conferencing systems, as well as make them consistent from office to office.
AVPA was brought in by audiovisual integrator AVI Systems to upgrade the systems' user interfaces, in order to give the Crestron TSW 1060 touchpanels a look that resembles that of the Cisco Touch 10. AVPA also integrated the newest Crestron module, which could handle the large amount of Cisco video conferencing systems and Cisco WebX users in the TD Ameritrade offices.
The first update was completed in TD Ameritrade's Omaha headquarters. After it was successfully tested and approved, AVPA upgraded the video conferencing systems in twelve more offices around the country, using the CE9 interface as the basis for all Crestron-controlled Cisco systems with complex audio and video routing. Since every location has its own unique setup, AVPA was required to complete some custom integration work and special programming to deliver a consistent user experience from office to office. The new look and feel of the user interface will also be applied by AVPA to any future offices that are constructed for TD Amertrade.
Matthew Grisafe, Owner and President of AVPA, said, "We are grateful for the opportunity to work with a well-respected American company like TD Ameritrade to upgrade their video conferencing systems. The project presented us with some challenges, but our talented team of Crestron programmers was able to deliver the results TD Ameritrade was looking for. We look forward to completing more projects for TD Ameritrade as they arise and continuing to work with our friends at AVI Systems."
