Industry Innovation of the Year (Management Company): Avalon Management Group, AAMC
This award recognizes a management company that has introduced the most significant and/or innovative new product or service into the community association marketplace during the year. Avalon Management is thrilled to receive this award since so much of the company's strategy emphasizes ongoing innovation and technological advancement to drive cost and time efficiencies across every community it serves.
The company also prioritizes continuing education as a critical component of providing excellent management services to clients. This includes educating Board members through a library of training videos that help them to perform their duties and strengthen the management company-Association relationship.
The videos are brief and address a specific topic, starting with the role of a Board member. They continue with explaining the role of the manager and management company, how to read the monthly financial report, how architectural applications are processed, etc. Board members have been extremely appreciative of having the videos as a resource.
Community Association of the Year: Sun City Civic Association, Avalon Management Group, AAMC
This award is presented to recipients who have gone above and beyond within their communities. As one of the largest communities that Avalon Management oversees, the Avalon Management team provides exceptional service designed to enhance the community experience while addressing expansive number of amenities, multiple maintenance and improvement projects, and unique issues.
The SCCA was selected due to a number of unique features, activities, and programs that make this large community stand out from others in the area. The awards committee was impressed by the successful efforts to bring more to the local Menifee community, such as the weekly Farmers' Market.
