Avery Products was honored by OH&S Magazine for its new safety signs that don’t damage walls and paint or leave a messy residue.

Avery Products Corporation, the world’s largest supplier of labels and short-run label printing and software solutions, is proud to announce that one of its newest products has won the New Product of the Year award from Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) magazine. The publication honored Avery Surface Safe Sign Labels with its second award in three years in the Signage and Identification category. The company’s UltraDuty® GHS Chemical Labels won the same award in 2016.

Avery Surface Safe Sign labels are made of a durable polyester material that’s water, chemical, abrasion and tear resistant. They stick securely to walls, windows, stainless steel and more, but leave no sticky residue when removed. Users can customize their signs online and then print them from a standard printer or have Avery WePrint professionally print and ship them. They’re perfect for creating caution, hazard, compliance, warning and confined space signs, as well signs for offices, schools, special events and home.

  • Removable Surface Safe adhesive sticks and stays put yet removes cleanly without damage or residue, for up to 3 years when used as recommended
  • Recommended for indoor use on drywall, doors, glass, stainless steel and more
  • Easily create custom signs using the free templates avery.com/templates

Now in its tenth year, the OH&S New Product of the Year contest is an important event for safety manufacturers. This year’s contest drew entries in 26 categories, with an independent panel choosing the winners. All of the winning products will be featured in the magazine’s December 2018 issue.

“Avery is greatly honored to have received this special award again as being a top new product,” said Tina Huff, Group Product Manager, Avery Products. “We’re really excited to continue to bring our world-leading labeling expertise to the industrial arena where we can help companies stay compliant and keep their employees safe. And we’re looking forward to sharing even more innovative industrial solutions in the future.”

The newest award-winning product is part of the Avery Industrial Labeling Solutions that are created to handle tough jobs and harsh environments. With a wide selection of shapes, sizes and materials to choose from, there’s a label for every tough job.
