Infusion-industry nursing veteran joins the company as it forges rapid, national expansion
GREENSBORO, N.C., Nov. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- AvevoRx, a national, independent provider of specialty infusion pharmacy services, has named Peg Gruenemeier, BSN, CRNI, IgCN, its director of clinical services and quality. In this role, Gruenemeier will lead the growth and expansion of AvevoRx's nursing and quality departments – overseeing all clinical policies, accreditations, and quality improvement measures.

Gruenemeier brings to AvevoRx more than 30 years of experience in the home infusion field as a nurse and certified compliance professional. She comes to AvevoRx from Optum Home Infusion, where she oversaw the national quality assurance program. Prior to her time with Optum, Peg was a key member of AvevoRx's co-founders' prior venture, BioRx, and was instrumental in helping grow its national nursing network from 0 field nurses to over 400 over her tenure. Additionally, Gruenemeier managed quality, policy, accreditation, and compliance initiatives. She serves on the board of the INCC & NHIA Quality Committee.
