NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- James Young joined HNTB Corporation as a senior program manager and vice president, based in the firm's New York City office. Young serves as program manager for HNTB, currently working on the $15 billion John F. Kennedy Airport redevelopment program in Queens. The JFK redevelopment program is the largest public-private aviation terminal effort in the nation and will provide a unified, interconnected world-class airport with improved road and mass-transit access.

Young joins HNTB with more than 40 years of global program management experience. His extensive background includes design and construction of a new $13 billion international airport in Mexico City where he had program management responsibility for more than 175 engineering experts, construction specialists, contracting, project controls and administration professionals. He also served as project manager for the $10 billion expansion of the Abu Dhabi International Airport and deputy project manager for the new DOHA International Airport in Qatar.
Young holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois.
