SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Avid 1960's poster collector Andrew Hawley, from Vintage Rock Posters, has announced his search for original boxing style 1963 Bob Dylan Mosque Theater concert posters. This was Dylan's first performance in New Jersey and the show did not sell out. The show held on November 30. According to Hawley, "Dylan was gaining popularity in New York City as an artist's artist. Artists like Peter Paul and Mary were doing covers with his songs. Moe Septee, a leading promoter of folk acts, brought Dylan to Newark. Murray Poster Printing Company designed and printed the concert poster. Boxing style concert posters were just starting to incorporate newspaper and magazine quotes into a layout. The 14x22 inch layout features a stock photo of the artist against a yellow background. The use of quotes was a common feature of early 1960s Dylan boxing style posters."
