SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Avid concert poster collector, Andrew Hawley from Vintage Rock Posters, announces his search for vintage boxing style Globe 1971 Park Center Charlotte North Carolina posters. The band was touring spreading their fame and introducing American to southern style rock n' roll/blues music. The Charlotte concert was held on April 17. According to Hawley, "The Allman Brothers' genius was they were excellent musicians who exposed audiences to the great tradition of classic American Blues. They had top hits by songs written and played by Blind Willie McTell, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Willie Cobbs, Bobby "Blue" Bland, and Willie Dixon. The band played rip-roaring live shows featuring dual guitarists Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, double drumming section with Butch Trucks and Jaimoe, and the silky and forceful vocals of Greg Allman. They basically blew their audiences away. Even after the motorcycle deaths of Duane Allman and bassist Berry Oakley, the band had a four-decade reign."
Hawley adds, "The Allman Brothers 1971 Park Center concert poster is a classic boxing style Globe of Baltimore poster which uses Day Glow colors to make the poster stand out. The poster was hung in record stores or nail onto telephone poles to advertise for the upcoming show."
