The Seattle concert was part of Zeppelin's sixth tour to the U.S. and the show was held on Sept 1. According to Hawley, "Led Zeppelin had released their second album that year and had become one of the top rock acts. Their third album was to be released in October. They got there the old fashioned way - they earned it. They had been barnstorming across the U.S. for two years."
