Avionos, which designs and implements marketing and commerce technology, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the Midwest, ranking No. 166.

This is the first year for the Inc. 5000 Series: Midwest. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Midwest economy. Avionos has been honored with the recognition having been ranked in the top 15% on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America in 2019, following tremendous growth of 900% since 2015 and a 350% increase in employee headcount since its founding in 2014.

In the face of uncertain times, Avionos is positioned for a strong year following the appointment of two chief executive positions, COO and CPO, to elevate its client delivery operations and to optimize employee development. The appointments come on the heels of Avionos opening an office in Bogota, Colombia and announcing plans to expand in New York and the West Coast to provide greater opportunities for talent across the U.S.

“The credit goes to the A-Team for staying focused and driving growth for Avionos and our clients throughout Avionos’ history, and even more so now during the outbreak of COVID-19,” said Gibson Smith, Chief People Officer of Avionos. “From executive leadership to marketing, operations, delivery and sales, each team member has stepped up to make this tough time better. Every organization will take a different approach to this pandemic. At Avionos, we’re taking a pragmatic approach; we will continue to penetrate the market and deliver top tier solutions for our clients. It’s why we’ve earned our spot on the Inc. and Crain’s lists.”

Additionally, Avionos has been named as a finalist on Crain’s 2020 Best Places to Work in Chicago list for the third year in a row. Crain’s Chicago Business partnered with Best Companies Group to identify companies that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. Avionos is recognized not only by Crain’s but also by each individual employee for its unique career development model, culture and versatile workplace.

“Being recognized by Crain’s and Inc. validates what we already know -- we’ve built a rock solid team. In periods of uncertainty like we are facing today, I am inspired every day by our amazing team and the foundation we have built,” said Avionos CEO Scott Webb. “Our culture, and the spirit of entrepreneurship which has driven our growth, is what lets me know that we are built not only to withstand turbulent times, but to flourish through them.”

Avionos’ continued revenue, employee and client growth has set the foundation for a promising year, particularly during today’s market conditions, and is further validated by its recognition on both Inc. and Crain’s award lists. Through its commitment to its people, partners and ability to deliver next-level solutions in up and down markets, Avionos is projected to keep the momentum going in 2020.
