AVP America to debut First National Grass Championships in Nashville, TN.

Grass volleyball enthusiasts now have the chance to play for a national title, as have beach players in the past.

"Throughout the year AVP America supports grass volleyball communities, big and small, all over the US with a vision of uniting the sport. We are thrilled to work with Nashville Beach and our partners on advancing our vision by creating the first ever Grass Nationals Tournament, in Nashville."

Nashville Beach Volleyball along with AVP America announced today, they will be hosting the First National Grass Volleyball Championships to be held at Fontanel in Nashville, TN.

With participants from all over the nation coming to Nashville, this sporting event will test the best of the best in the world of grass volleyball doubles, triples, and quads. "We are proud to announce that Hydrate is the official sponsor of the 2019 AVP Grass Nationals Volleyball Championships in Nashville, Tennessee. We are excited to continue our support of athletics, and show that Hydrate Alkaline Water is a top choice for today’s athletes," shared Tim Munson, CEO and founder.

Event is set for October 4th, 5th, and 6th on the lush greens of the Fontanel grounds. The weekend of festivities will include tournament pool play, along with a single-elimination tournament for each division. Cash and prizes totaling $20,000.00 to be awarded to participants. Total number of participants is expected to be 1,000 for the entire event.

Entertainment from local musicians will help stir the air and give visitors the Music City experience, along with local food trucks Gypsy Crepe, Cracker Boy, Tim and Kelly's Smoke Shack, and the Love Bus. This event will be a great season-ending celebration of the sport for spectators and players. Come out and watch the competition!
