Franksville, WI (PRWEB) October 26, 2015 -- AW-Lake Company, the leading North American manufacturer and distributor of flow meter products, is proud to announce new ATEX and IECEx explosion-proof certifications of their popular RT-30EX meter-mounted flow transmitter and HUB-41EX flow sensor, for use in hazardous areas. These new certifications are important to engineers designing systems in environments with explosive atmospheres, because they ensure compliance with all standards set forth by European Parliament and of the Council and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for safety and performance. The formal evaluation process involves months of examination, testing and continuous follow-up inspections.

AW-Lake will continue to offer the RT-30EX transmitter with CSA (US & Canada) certification, as well as the non-certified models for those not requiring such stringent criteria as mandated by these certifying bodies.
