Elements Of Sea, Salt, Sand & Sound Flow Abundantly At The Full-Service Spa Located Within Fort Lauderdale’s Prestigious New Residential Address

On December 15, Auberge Beach Residences & Spa will open the doors to the 15,000-plus square-foot The Spa at Auberge Beach, welcoming wellness aficionados and soon-to-be residents of the most sought-after address in Fort Lauderdale, where only a few select residences remain. Influenced by Florida’s abundant elements of sea, salt, sand and sound, the spa will celebrate a new era of unparalleled beauty and wellbeing services. Offering both residents and the public unfussy and authentic experiences in step with Fort Lauderdale’s relaxed beachfront lifestyle, the spa will awaken guests’ vitality amidst bright open spaces, coastal breezes flowing through outdoor terraces and turquoise waters sparkling in the near distance.

Set on the picturesque shores of Fort Lauderdale, land and sea’s rejuvenating elements will be incorporated throughout every aspect of the resort-caliber spa, which has been masterfully conceived by The Related Group, Fortune International Group, Fairwinds Group and Auberge Resorts Collection, the internationally renowned ultra-luxury resort operator. As it has at its other award-winning resort spas, Auberge Resorts Collection will introduce meticulously curated all-natural treatments inspired by the destination to enliven the spirit. Guests can expect the unexpected as they journey through wellness rituals that strive to achieve mind, body and soul vitality.

“We are delighted to introduce the Auberge standard to Fort Lauderdale and bring a world-class wellness and lifestyle experience to residents, visitors and the community,” said Craig Reid, President and Chief Executive Officer, Auberge Resorts Collection. “From massage rituals to sound therapy mediation, the influence of the sunny seaside destination will flow throughout the guest experience. Our team has paid close attention to every step of the wellness journey so that guests will leave awakened and renewed after every visit.”

“With balance and mindfulness at the forefront of all our treatments at The Spa at Auberge Beach, residents and guests will be able to incorporate a holistic approach into their everyday healthy lifestyle,” said Linda Higgs, Director of Spa & Wellness, Auberge Beach Residences & Spa. “Every treatment here will be experienced through touch, sight, smell, sound and taste. From our carefully chosen spa treatments to our pre- and post-service amenities, our philosophy focuses on integrating the power of the whole body for optimal well-being.”

“We set out to create a residential property that was indistinguishable from the Auberge resorts, and this spa concept blurs the lines even further,” said Jorge Perez, Founder and CEO of The Related Group. “Having one of the region’s top spa and wellness experiences a few steps away from home has been a major draw for our buyers and fulfills our vision for the property.”

“Wellness is a core part of the Auberge brand and an amenity we're looking forward to sharing with not only our buyers, but also Fort Lauderdale residents and guests,” said Edgardo Defortuna, Founder and CEO of Fortune International Group. “The Spa at Auberge Beach will feature the same level of service and signature treatments as the Auberge brand, in addition to a beach-inspired experience fitting for the neighborhood.”

"From the very beginning of this project in 2002, our vision has been to bring to Fort Lauderdale a best-in-class spa. To that end, we visited over 60 spas on multiple continents with that vision in mind,” said Kathy Mitchell, Principal of The Fairwinds Group. “This lifestyle spa will achieve that goal, and our associates will greet our Auberge residents and the community with the graciousness you have come to expect from our family. The Spa at Auberge is our gift to the community. A new standard of excellence that celebrates Fort Lauderdale's natural beauty," said Andy Mitchell, President and CEO of The Fairwinds Group.

The five-sense journey begins when guests enter the glass-encased lobby designed by Meyer Davis and are welcomed with heavenly scents and personalized attention from the well-appointed staff. After a seamless check-in, guests will be swept away to one of the 14 treatment rooms or three garden cabanas surrounded by lush landscaping, expansive outdoor terraces and fire pits. The golden Floridian sand and azure of the Atlantic inspired the tranquil interiors, which feature pale oak and teak wood finishes, earthy hues donning the walls and furnishings along with blue marble accents. Contemporary, warm lighting and ample lounge seating encourage guests to soak in the moment and either wind down ahead of a treatment or peacefully awaken following a reinvigorating session.

Year-Round Wellness For All
An extensive treatment menu will offer captivating therapies used to balance and restore the body, purify the skin, detoxify organs, optimize immune function, stimulate weight loss, relieve pain for overall well-being and much more. Signature treatments include the Self-Guided Vitality Ritual, which begins with a session in the Sound Meditation Lounge to bring the mind into a deep meditative state through a curated selection of music and sounds. The journey continues with a visit to the Salt Cave, also known as halotherapy, which helps support the immune, nervous and lymphatic systems, reducing stress and headaches, increasing energy and bettering sleep patterns. Guests can then head into the Infrared Sauna, which provides panels of Far Infrared for ultimate detoxification. Finally, concludes the ritual by alternating hot and cold sensations with the Hot Steam Room and Cool Deluge Shower featuring a nine-jetted water feature and overhead rain shower. Vitality accomplished.

In addition to the Self-Guided Vitality Ritual, the spa will also offer the Auberge Anthology, a trio of signature treatments conceived at Auberge’s award-winning Napa Valley flagship resort, Auberge du Soleil, and available at all Auberge resort spas. The 80-minute treatments comprise:

  • “Restore and Balance Massage” blending aromatic compresses, stretches, deep-tissue techniques and muscle-soothing essential oils all while guests are cocooned in a warm sand bed of quartz
  • “Auberge Heaven and Earth Body Treatment” is the ultimate head-to-toe organic body treatment to smooth, soothe and hydrate; beginning with a Bamboo Lemongrass foaming body scrub, stimulating scalp massage and culminating with an in-room steam shower and series of hydrating serums, toners and body creams
  • “Best of Auberge Facial” generates advanced age-defying results using highly active skin care products and the latest aesthetic technology such as micro-current and rejuvenating light therapy to lift, tone and repair skin balance delivering youthful and healthy radiance.

The Spa at Auberge Beach will also offer an eclectic menu of specialized treatments, including the Quartz Sand, Sound & CBD Body Wrap, a dry-brush exfoliation that prepares the body for a warm cocoon of CBD- infused oils to soothe achy muscles before relaxing into a warm Quartz Sand Bed; couples’ treatments, pre-natal massages, sports massages, reflexology and much more.

Whether guests decide to take a traditional or contemporary route on their quest for enlightenment, all treatments will touch upon all five senses, from the sounds of Tibetan Tingshas commencing the experience, to an aromatic selection of essential oils and hot stones gliding over the skin to a cooled lavender-filled eye pillow relieving over-stimulated sight and finally a taste offering in the form of a vitality elixir and homemade wellness bite to rebalance.
