Award-winning “Starlit” Movie Debuts In Manhattan This Wed. Aug. 1
NEW YORK (PRWEB) August 01, 2018 -- The award-winning independent feature film “Starlit” is making its Manhattan premiere on Wednesday, August 1 as part of the NewFilmmakers series. Location is the historic Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second Ave., NY, NY. Most of the cast and crew are from New York, where the movie was partially filmed.
The night kicks off with a 5:30 p.m. reception featuring top cast and crew, with the screening at 7:45 p.m. Movie-goers are encouraged to come early to get a seat as there are no advance purchases. Tickets are $7.00 at the door and are good for all NewFilmmakers screenings that day. NewFilmmakers is New York’s longest running and most popular screening series
About Starlit:
Jessica Alvarez (Valentina Corbella) is twenty-four and bored. She craves independence and adventure; she needs to feel alive. What she has is an MBA, a safe corporate gig, a bland boyfriend Roger (Cory Cannataro), a steady supply of pills for her ADHD and a room at home with a suffocating mother (Liz Chuday). Then she meets a mechanic (Anthony Tether) who steals her heart. They hit the road, hiking the Appalachian Trail by day and stargazing at night. But is he too good to be true?
