It's about darn time superior technology helps women arrive ready, not sweaty.
NEW YORK, May 11, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Yes, boob sweat is a thing. As the inventor of Swoobie®, Dawn Hunter was tired of hearing boob sweat "wasn't an issue" from cynical men who controlled the machinery she needed to make her bra liners. Dawn navigated the male-dominated nonwovens industry (the folks who produce everyday items like diapers, wipes, bandages and even tea bags) for five years to get Swoobie produced, enduring plenty of laughter at her expense. It didn't stop her. Dawn was determined to end years of silent suffering for women everywhere. Although it shouldn't come as a surprise that men don't know everything about what women need, women actually have been NEEDING a solution to boob sweat.
Swoobie® takes an innovative approach to the age-old problem of bustline perspiration (we don't care what men say–sweaty boobies might sound "sexy," but they're super uncomfortable and can even result in nasty rashes). Swoobie is an absorbent, disposable liner that adheres to the lower portion of the bra and is made from flexible, baby-soft layers designed to pull moisture from around the breasts, locking it deep in the liner's core to keep the area dry. Swoobie provides all-day protection, preserves lingerie, prevents irritation, and avoids embarrassing moments when wetness seeps through clothes.
"We conducted a survey and found that 82% of women perspire at the bust to some degree, regardless of shape or size," said Dawn Hunter, Inventor of Swoobie and Founder of Awkward Beauty. "While living an active life in New York City, I struggled with managing perspiration in my bra with no practical, functional solutions available. It has taken five years to develop and bring Swoobie to market, and I'm thrilled to offer this much-needed product to women who are tired of wearing soggy bras."
Depending on wardrobe and/or absorbency needs, patent-pending Swoobie® offers versatile placements: liners can be positioned for full cleavage sweat absorption or discreetly positioned to allow deep views into plunging necklines. The wide range of sizes and diverse placement provide custom coverage for all. Absorbent materials protect sensitive skin through a moisture-lock system that secures wetness deep inside, keeping your skin dry and your bra fresh.
Whether you're using public transport because gas is too high, hustling a sweaty service shift, or dancing the night away, Swoobie® keeps you drier when you perspire. Swoobie sizes run small to large for bra sizes 30A to 50H. A box of 14 pairs (a half-month supply) starts at $16.99 depending on size; while a Buy and Try 3-pk is $5.99. To celebrate the official launch in May, customers can receive 15% off a 14-pair box with code COOLSUMMER. For more information, visit Swoobie.com.

About Dawn Hunter, CEO & Founder of Swoobie® and Awkward Beauty™
Dawn Hunter is originally from the Pacific Northwest and moved to the East Coast for college, graduating from American University in Washington, D.C. After living in Paris post-graduation, she moved to New York City to work in finance. The steamy summers and swampy subways of NYC presented a new challenge: perspiring through her shirts in the most awkward spot - her bustline. This was problematic for a woman who sweats easily yet lives an active lifestyle in a humid environment. After many years working in the cubicle farms and open office plans of corporate America, she finally decided to follow her passion - problem solving! Despite American hygiene execs (mostly men) dismissing her idea, Dawn spent five years developing Swoobie and getting it manufactured, first in India and now in the U.S.
