More than 3,800 nominations – a record number – from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Virtual Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Azalea Health was nominated in the Most Valuable Corporate Response category for the COVID-19 Response Awards.
Within hours of the National Emergency Declaration, Azalea announced it would provide free telehealth services to its over 800 hospital and health clinic customers, most of them in rural and underserved communities that were highly vulnerable to COVID-19. With close customer support, providers were able to quickly stand-up the cloud-based application and offer it to patients, helping them avoid potential exposure to infection. Support teams also assisted providers with telehealth billing and reimbursement best practices, revenue recovery, and new regulations. What's more, Azalea's FHIR interoperable solution made it easy for providers to share critical data with state health information exchanges (HIEs) to track the pandemic.
