Barry Snyder Announces Launch of his Family Office
Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) June 19, 2015 -- Barry Snyder from Credit Suisse recently announced the launch of his family office, after nearly 25 years of working on Wall Street.
After a short stint as a CPA at the old, but venerable Arthur Andersen, Barry attended Columbia Business School where he received an MBA in Finance. Soon after, he joined the NY Institutional Equities Division at Goldman Sachs and Co. While at Goldman Sachs Barry Snyder worked as a VP covering many of that Firm’s most prestigious hedge funds and Institutional money managers.
Barry later opted to join the Firm’s Miami, Florida office in their Private Wealth Division. He became Goldman’s top producer in that division for many years, before accepting broader responsibilities as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in Palm Beach, Florida. Barry Snyder at Deutsche Bank helped bring in some significant investment banking deals and reached the pinnacle of the Firm’s elite Private Wealth managers, and making the coveted Barron’s Top 100 list in both 2008 and 2009 as the 22nd and 9th best wealth manager respectively, in the United States.
After his tenure at Deutsche Bank, he joined Credit Suisse as a Managing Director and won numerous accolades as one of their top wealth managers. His success continued as an MD at JP Morgan, but Barry yearned for something more rewarding and decided to start the next chapter of his career by launching his own family office.
Barry’s family office is focused on managing investments in real estate, hedged equity and high end residential and commercial real estate development. Barry maintains an active presence as an involved member of the community, serving in various board capacities at his children’s schools, colleges and his own alma mater, Columbia, where he serves on the School’s prestigious Hermes Society Executive Committee. Barry and his family are actively involved in several South Florida based charities and philanthropy.
