BarTender® by Seagull Scientific Supports Zebra Technologies’ Zatar Platform
Bellevue, Wash. (PRWEB) April 25, 2015 -- Seagull Scientific today announced support for Zebra Technologies’ Zatar platform in Seagull’s BarTender® software for creating and automating labels, barcodes, RFID, cards and more. Zatar is Zebra Technologies’ global cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform, which enables businesses and developers to build custom applications to manage their assets.
Zatar support will enable BarTender users to easily route label, RFID and card designs to a wide variety of output devices that are connected through the Zatar platform.
BarTender’s next-generation web printing platform will integrate Zatar in an upcoming release. Users who are interested in beta testing Zatar support with the current BarTender 10.1 release can contact zatar-beta(at)seagullscientific(dot)com for more information.
“As a proud partner of Zebra Technologies, we are pleased to provide our BarTender customers with another compelling way to design, print and control their label, RFID and card processes,” said Steve Wilcox, Vice President of Marketing for Seagull Scientific. “Combining BarTender with Zatar will create new and unique opportunities for customers who are seeking to connect their devices through a cloud platform.”
