SAN DIEGO, Oct. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Saturday, October 20, Batta Fulkerson Law Group will be sponsoring a charity event for Gold Star Children at Carlsbad Safety Training Center, 5750 Orion Street, Carlsbad, CA. "This is a day where these kids just get to be kids. They do not have to worry about the stress and strife of normal life and they are able to make friends with other kids that have lost a parent. It is an event that is about bonding and building relationships," said Daniel Fulkerson, co-founder and managing partner of Batta Fulkerson Law Group, which was recently named the best Personal Injury Law Firm in San Diego by the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Active Valor is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 to raise awareness about American child survivors whose mothers or fathers were killed or died while serving in the United States military. Batta Fulkerson Law not only sponsors Active Valor, but in December, the firm will be the title sponsor of a large pet adoption event for Traci's Paws. Traci's Paws is a local dog rescue that concentrates on rescuing senior dogs, holding an annual adoption event. "This year we are covering all of the adoption fees so families can help give these dogs a good home and also our way of wishing these families happy holidays," added Fulkerson.
The firm also recently donated enough money to the Little Italy Association to create a small dog park in Little Italy. Other charity events are its holiday present drive for San Diego Center for Children. "We spread donation boxes around San Diego at different businesses and try to gather as many toys as possible," concluded Fulkerson. "Last year we gathered four truckloads of toys, and hope to make it even bigger this year."
