Liberty Bay in Portland, Maine joins Greenestone in Bala, Ontario as BayMark expands their addiction treatment portfolio into the Residential Treatment Services market.
LEWISVILLE, Texas, Dec. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- BayMark Health Services announced this week an exciting addition to their portfolio of Substance Use Disorder Services, Liberty Bay Recovery Center, a residential treatment facility in Portland, Maine. BayMark is well-known in the addiction treatment industry as the North American leader in Opioid Use Disorder treatment with more than 250 facilities across the continent providing a variety of treatment options including medication-assisted treatment, counseling and both inpatient and outpatient withdrawal management services.
That portfolio, until recently, included only one residential treatment facility in Bala, Ontario, Greenestone Muskoka. Each patient is unique, and as BayMark expands our continuum of care, what we're really expanding is our ability to help each of those patients find the type and level of care that is right for them on their path to recovery."
Liberty Bay offers treatment for a variety of addictions including not only opioids, but also alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription drugs and other substances. Multiple levels of care including residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment provide patients with step-down care that meets each patient where they are at in their journey. Patients at Liberty Bay receive a customized treatment plan that may include both group and individual counseling, family program work, addiction education, life skills classes, relapse prevention strategies and resources, and around-the-clock supervision and support.
"Providing the ability of a patient anywhere in this country to access professional, comprehensive and compassionate care for addiction is our number one goal", shared Mike Saul, BayMark Division President. "As we move into the residential space I couldn't be more pleased to be working with Liberty Bay. Their facility, staff and the care provided is top-notch, and the foundation of excellence in patient care is one that BayMark will work diligently to not only maintain, but enhance."
In addition to Liberty Bay, BayMark operates two medication-assisted treatment facilities in Portland and Lewiston, ME offering methadone and Suboxone®, as well as counseling, for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder.
