The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) produces the Communicator Awards to evaluate and honor creative excellence by communications professionals.
2016 Communicator Awards of Excellence, the highest achievement in the competition were earned by the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts and J.C. Newman Cigar Company’s Perla del Mar brand websites. Seven more 22nd Annual Communicator Awards Distinction honors were given to Bayshore Solutions websites for Gardner-Gibson, Morphogenesis, Physician Leadership Institute, Quality Distribution Inc., System One Services, the Columbia Restaurant, and the University of South Florida’s Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS).
Over 6,000 entries were received from the United States and internationally. The AIVA panel of judges evaluated entries for work that demonstrates effective dedication to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
