In his expanded role, Catapano will lead the BDS Digital Solution out of Columbus, Ohio, as well as the internal Marketing and Solution Development teams out of BDS' headquarters in Irvine, California. This unified role is intended to deliver on BDS' intentional growth strategy and digital transformation by positioning BDS as an expert solutions provider, implementing a digital-first approach to power sales, delivering clients with strategic omni-present solutions, and enhancing loyalty and retention.
BDS acquired wowbrands in the summer of 2017 in an orchestrated effort to buy innovation in the digital space, as a value-add for clients and partners. Catapano immediately brought 20 years of strategic marketing and digital expertise to BDS' solution set through that acquisition, which is now officially integrated through this appointment. As a member of the executive leadership team, Catapano will continue to grow the digital division through continuity-based strategies targeting emerging and disruptive brands, while also focusing on developing digital-first strategies that drive BDS' new business development and pitches.
