Beardo Beard Hats Are Taking America By Storm
(PRWEB) February 12, 2016 -- Beardo beard hats are taking the United States by storm with Good Morning America getting in on the act by featuring the cult headwear brand on their program on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
The Beardo brand of beard hat is the brainchild of Canadian-born winter sports enthusiast Jeff Phillips who created them as a fun way to keep people’s heads warm during the coldest winter days.
According to Mr Phillips the Beardo beard hat is the ultimate piece of winter attire and it has come a long way since its humble first prototype derived from an old knit scarf that he created himself to keep him warm on the ski slopes.
“I created the beard hat as an attempt to create something that looked cool and keep me warm on the slopes and I soon refined the product and started selling it to friends, other skiers and snowboarders and I was blown away by the response,” said Mr Phillips.
“I soon developed the brand Beardo as demand grew for the beard hats as the product spread amongst a range of people, not just skiers and snowboarders, but also everyday outdoor workers on the job which really surprised me. Its been fantastic to see the response from people to our innovative patented beard hat designs and how they have become part of everyday wear for so many people living and working in cold winter climates, keeping the snow off their faces while helping them stay warm.”
Since launching in 2007 Beardo beard hats consistently update their designs each winter season in response to customer demand. Their most popular designs are their facemasks, beard beanie and hat with beard.

About Beardo
Our mission is to provide a hassle-free, warm product of the highest quality to all customers. Beardo beard hats are the brainchild of Jeff Phillips, a Canadian-born winter enthusiast who has a passion for snowboarding. Jeff has been chasing perfect powder runs all around the globe and came up with the first make-shift Beardo in Whistler, B.C back in 2007 while at the Blackcomb mountain summit, at 7th heaven. Though this very first prototype was made using an old knit scarf and far from perfect, it has been severely refined (not thanks to Jeff's horrible knitting skills!) to the innovative and fully patented design that you see today. Once the first few Beard hat designs were put out to the public, we really didn’t know what to expect, but the response said it all.
They were very quickly picked up by a range of people, not just skiers and snowboarders, as originally thought. As the design started gaining some recognition and press, more and more people became interested and even outdoor workers started using them on the job! Our goal is to keep Beardowear current and fresh by continually launching new, innovative products, while providing top quality customer service. The rest of the story will have to write itself. Stay tuned… Keep the sand between your toes and the snow off your face.
