Beatriz Infante Named to Financial Times Agenda “Digital 50” Board Directors

Ms. Infante has 30 years of extensive operating experience in growing market-leading businesses and has served as the chief executive officer for multiple public and private companies. She is currently the chief executive officer of BusinessExcelleration, a strategic business consultancy that helps companies navigate through disruptive change, including cloud and big data strategies, and is also an active investor and advisor in Tandem Capital, a Silicon Valley seed-stage investment firm whose seasoned team works with CEO’s of transformational companies focused on mobile-social technologies.
Infante is currently a director of Sonus Networks (NASDAQ: SONS), a market leader in IP communications, Emulex (NYSE: ELX), a leader in converged networking, and 1010data (privately held), a market leader in big data analytics.
Previously, Ms. Infante was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Aspect Communications, a market leader in enterprise applications and contact center solutions which she led to record revenues, and additionally held other roles. She has also served as the chief executive officer of ENXSuite, a market leader in energy management which was acquired by Infor, chief executive officer of VoiceObjects Inc., a market leader in mobile communications which was acquired by Voxeo, and Sychron Inc., a developer of data center infrastructure which was acquired by an investor group, and was previously a senior vice president at Oracle.
She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University and an MS in Engineering Science from California Institute of Technology.
In addition, Ms. Infante is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow, demonstrating her commitment to boardroom excellence by completing NACD’s comprehensive program of study for experienced corporate directors—a rigorous suite of courses spanning leading practices for boards and committees.
