Beaumont Solar Expands Construction Capacity to 20 Megawatts (MW) per Quarter
New Bedford, MA (PRWEB) December 14, 2016 -- Beaumont Solar, a leading, full-service solar developer and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) company, has signed an agreement with the IBEW Local 223 of Southeastern Massachusetts. Working with qualified, local, licensed electricians enables Beaumont Solar to quickly scale, provide guaranteed construction and workmanship with predictable costs to customers. All IBEW Local 223 members are MA licensed electricians, or registered electrical apprentices. By signing this agreement with Local 223, Beaumont has a workforce that is OSHA certified, drug tested, along with meeting CORI certification requirements. All work is performed by licensed Journeymen and apprentices, with a ratio based on state licensure requirements, so there is never any question of accountability. With this partnership, it enables Beaumont to be productive and scalable on each and every project.
Beaumont Solar delivers proven and guaranteed construction services to its customers, so that they can focus on their business, and not have to worry about costs or workmanship quality during or after a project is completed. Extensive in-house resources and capabilities allow for flexibility, and continuous improvement with real-time feedback from the field directly to the design and development team.
“We are thrilled to partner with Local 223 – it’s a win for our customers who receive great value, and a win for our local workers who are able to utilize their trade skills, and contribute to a growing clean energy economy,” said Phil Cavallo, President and CEO of Beaumont Solar. “With a large number of Megawatts already completed in Southeastern MA, and a dozen more in progress, our focus on quality construction is yielding very satisfied customers.”
“Partnering with Beaumont Solar allows us to showcase our electrical expertise while at the same time helping their customers go green,” said David Fenton, IBEW Local 223 Business Manager and Financial Secretary. “With representation in Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, Norfolk, and Plymouth Counties, we pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of professionalism in electrical and energy work and enabling our customers to reap the numerous benefits of clean, safe, green energy.”
It benefits customers interested in solar to understand the difference between engineering, procurement and construction solar developers, as not all firms are created equal. This ensures alignment of goals and expectations, and is a critical piece of the solar puzzle. Beaumont’s extensive construction capabilities means that all work is completed in-house, and workmanship is guaranteed. From pre-project financial planning, construction, to operation and maintenance – Beaumont provides customers with value they can see – and measure.
