Beautytap Partners with Bloomingdale's to Customize In-store J-Beauty & K-Beauty Shopping Experience for Customers

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Beautytap, the premier destination for Korean beauty education, advice, content, community, and premium luxury beauty products, today announces the grand opening of its first J and K-beauty "store-within-a-store" located at Bloomingdale's South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. The shop will provide customers with the chance to experience Korean and Asian beauty from more than 45 brands offering 250 products in a simple, discoverable way. There will be a grand opening celebration that will be held Saturday, October 26th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with special invitations going out to press, influencers, and 500+ Bloomingdale's VIP shoppers. The first 100 checked-in attendees will each receive a gift bag filled with $100 in free gifts. Guests spending at least $50 will receive a gift with purchase worth $250.

Additionally, Beautytap will be introducing a new way to customize the skincare discovery process based on skin concerns and personalization versus customers shopping by brands. How it works: Customers will take a digital skin analysis through a smart mirror and then given recommendations based on skin concerns like acne or dryness. They will then find the 1-10 K-beauty steps with specific products within those step categories based on their skin concern and budget (affordable, medium, and premium) price range. This will be a paradigm shift in how consumers personalize beauty based on their needs and budget rather than shopping only by brand shelves.

The CEO of Beautytap, James Sun, will address the audience at the grand opening, in a fireside chat with Melanie Bromley, co-host, Live from E!, chief news correspondent for E! News, and the lead correspondent for breaking entertainment news. Melanie will be the host of the panels and will hold the chat at 12 noon, before the first panel. The event, K-Beauty Pop, presented by Beautytap and StyleCon, offers a day of speaker panels, makeup stations, contests, glam experiences, prizes, and more. Melanie will host the event with guests Heidi Nazarudin, founder of Marque Media; Valorie Kondas Fields, and former head coach UCLA gymnastics.
