Becker Pumps Corporation First Vacuum Pump Manufacturer to be IE3 Compliant

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- New Global Premium Efficiency Motor Compliance met by Becker Pumps Corp. Becker is the first manufacturer of vacuum pumps and low pressure compressors to supply the new IE3 (International Efficiency) Premium Efficiency standard motors in the United States across Becker's complete line of both vacuum and pressure pumps.

This announcement by Becker of the successful compliance with the new motor efficiency standards now required in the USA is of particular significance to all Original Equipment Manufacturers as this new standard went into effect on January 1, 2017. All motors not stocked and shipped after that date must comply with the IE3 mandate as required by law. All electric motors supplied on Becker pumps meet this new global IE3 Premium Efficiency motor standard. This includes all models of pumps, as well as all voltages, both single and three phase, which are 1 horsepower (.75 kW) or larger. (Motors less than 1 horsepower are not required to meet the IE3 mandate.)
