Discover the foundational practices leaders must cultivate to focus and inspire others, overcome collective challenges, and achieve impressive results with the lessons and diagnostic tools captured in “The 5C Leader: Exceptional Leadership Practices for Extraordinary Times” (published by Archway Press) by W. James Weese, Ph.D. The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Leader-Exceptional-Leadership-Practices-Extraordinary-ebook/dp/B07H9S139R.
Weese offers readers a theoretically strong and practical book that outlines his “Five C” concept and provides readers with a digestible package of what effective leaders are, what they do and how they think. His “Five C’s” of leadership are: credibility, compelling vision, charismatic communicator, contagious enthusiasm, and culture builder. He also presents readers with a diagnostic tool that they can use to measure their “Five C” leadership practices and determine their leadership strengths and areas for development.
“Leadership remains one of the most studied, yet poorly understood and applied concepts. Leaders seek to improve their effectiveness but often don’t know what to do or where to get help. Industries spend millions of dollars trying to help leaders improve but are often disappointed with the results. Stakeholders seek and deserve more,” says Weese. “This book will help current leaders and aspiring leaders better understand the concept and heighten their effectiveness in this critical area.”
