Invest in Bogotá is an investment promotion agency that aims to support companies that believe in the city as an ideal destination to grow. The initiative unifies the efforts of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and the Bogotá City Government.
Several companies were nominated in categories such as "Greatest impact in the city in manufacturing", "Project with social impact - sustainability", and "Project with greatest impact in creative industries". In order to choose the winning companies, Invest in Bogota used a set of criteria that included creating employment, the amount of investment, international reputation, and social responsibility, among others. Belatrix won the award in the category of "Media impact" and was nominated for having the "Greatest impact in services", for being a leading software development company that helps organizations thrive in the digital world.
Before opening its delivery center in Bogota, Belatrix carried out research and analysis in order to choose the best location. Colombia was very well positioned because of its infrastructure, economic stability, and its strategic geographical position. It has become a key technology hub in Latin America, and which has a rapidly growing reputation for the strength of digital talent in the country.
Over the past year, Belatrix has grown in Bogotá from a team of 40 employees to over one hundred people. We now have over 700 employees in locations across three continents.
