Practice features the clinical acumen and compassion of double board certified pain management physician Dr. Robert Bowers

It's my task to find out what is causing someone's pain and then tailor a custom plan for each person.

Bellevue Pain and Wellness PLLC, an interventional pain management practice, is pleased to announce the opening of a new pain management practice located in Bellevue, Washington.

The new practice is the vision of a well-known and highly regarded interventional pain management physician in the Seattle and Bellevue areas, Robert Bowers, M.D., who has been practicing in the Greater Seattle area over the past few years.

Bellevue Pain and Wellness PLLC is pleased to offer comprehensive pain management, including cutting edge interventional pain management services, such as Spravato (esketamine), an FDA approved treatment, fluoroscopic guided epidural steroid injections, facet blocks and radiofrequency ablation for arthritic low back pain, radiofrequency ablation for the knees/genicular nerve blocks, neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation, sacroiliac joint (SIJ) injections, shoulder, hip and knee joint injections, and advanced techniques in regenerative medicine including platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy. Interventional therapies are sometimes offered in conjunction with non-opioid medications for a modern and caring approach to chronic pain management.

Dr. Bowers completed his residency in anesthesiology as Chief Resident at the prestigious Mt Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York City, and subsequently completed an exclusive interventional pain management fellowship at the same institution, and has been offering high quality pain management services for the past several years since completing his training. Dr. Bowers prides himself on technical expertise and effectiveness of each procedure he performs. Dr Bowers is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesia and Pain Management, and maintains both of his board certifications, his medical license by the State of Washington, as well as ongoing continuing medical education to keep up with the best and cutting edge medical advances in pain management.

Dr. Bowers' long-standing goal has been to become a top pain management doctor in the Seattle Bellevue areas and to be a part of a high quality pain management office that is accessible to all types of patients in pain as well as deliver a boutique style patient experience. "Each individual patient needs something different," Bowers states, "so it's my task to find out what is causing someone's pain and then tailor a custom plan for each person."

"What I focus on is finding the root of the problem and then targeting that area with effective and minimally invasive procedures, as well as suggesting making small lifestyle changes that may prevent the problem from coming back or allow us to achieve our goal activities," Dr. Bowers continues.

Dr. Bowers also offers expertise in the treatment of chronic pain, low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, arthritis pain of the joints, including hips, knees and shoulders, migraine and other headaches such as occipital neuralgia, as well as chronic abdominal and pelvic pain syndromes. Dr. Bowers is especially adept and passionate about helping patients with notoriously hard to treat sacroiliac joint dysfunction, complex regional pain syndrome/CRPS, post laminectomy pain syndrome/failed back surgery syndrome, and pain associated with peripheral neuropathy and herniated discs causing sciatica or radiculopathy.

"Not all pain treatments require surgery," Dr. Bowers says. "Sometimes, with the right diagnosis, we can select the simplest of treatments to alleviate what is bothering us."
