Benchmarkia, a joint venture between Sustrio Advisors and Incorrys Inc., a business analytics firm, performed benchmarking of ten largest Canadian airports based on their performance and sustainability.
CALGARY, AB, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Benchmarkia, a joint venture between Sustrio Advisors, a sustainability consultancy, and Incorrys Inc., a business analytics firm, performed benchmarking of Canadian airports based on their performance and sustainability. Overall, the 10 largest Canadian airports were ranked based on a number of parameters.
These parameters included performance metrics, such as the number of passengers, airport area, number of departing flights, number of terminals, cargo volume, etc. Sustainability/ESG parameters included GHG emissions, water usage, water generated, noise control measures, as well as community investment, alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System, etc.
The analysis was performed based on public information published by the airports. Each metric had a different weight. Combined performance metrics had an 85% weight, while combined sustainability metrics had a 15% weight.
