Benchworks is excited to increase its client offerings and become involved in another sector of the healthcare industry,” said Thad Bench, CEO and founder of Benchworks.
CHESTERTOWN, Md. (PRWEB) July 26, 2018
Benchworks is pleased to announce it has launched a new division, Health System Marketing to help hospitals, health systems and providers enhance their branding and revenue through marketing and communication services.
The new division will support the efforts of health systems to increase brand awareness, grow their key service lines, improve the patient experience, and support population health initiatives through effective communications. Population health management is a clinical discipline that focuses on improving the overall health of communities served by hospitals and health systems. Key tools include prevention, education and community outreach.
Health System Marketing is a natural evolution of the services Benchworks currently provides to its clients, mostly life science and pharmaceutical companies. Benchworks supports clients throughout their journey, from marketing strategy to commercialization and pharmaceutical distribution, which aligns with Benchworks’ goal to be a solutions provider, not only a marketing partner.
“Benchworks is excited to increase its client offerings and become involved in another sector of the healthcare industry,” said Thad Bench, CEO and founder of Benchworks. “As Benchworks continues to grow, we look to support and partner with our clients to help them develop and execute marketing strategies that achieve their business goals.”
Heading up this new division is Lisa Wolfington, who joins Benchworks as director of Health System Marketing. Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in health system marketing, communications and public affairs for hospitals and health systems across the Mid-Atlantic region.
“We are pleased to welcome Lisa to Benchworks. Her award-winning experience consulting and working for major academic and teaching hospitals and health systems in the region provides a solid foundation for leading this new division,” said Melissa Johnston, president of Benchworks. “We look forward to working with Lisa as Benchworks continues to increase its client services.”
Before joining Benchworks, Lisa ran her own boutique healthcare agency. Clients included major healthcare industry associations, hospitals and health systems, health plans, and senior living communities in Washington, DC; Maryland; Virginia; and the Mid-Atlantic region. Lisa is a member of the National Press Club, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and Women Business Leaders in Healthcare.
