Beneficial Electrification League Names Keith Dennis President
The Beneficial Electrification League (BEL) announced today that Keith Dennis, former Vice President of Business and Technology Strategies at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), will become the BEL's President effective immediately.
MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Beneficial Electrification League (BEL) announced today that Keith Dennis, former Vice President of Business and Technology Strategies at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), will become the BEL's President effective immediately.

At NRECA, Keith Dennis spearheaded an effort to promote the concept of beneficial electrification to policymakers, utility sector leaders, as well as researchers and analysts.
During implementation of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act, Keith worked at the Department of Energy where he was Lead for Policy, Guidance, and Communications for the $3.2 billion Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).
Keith also served as a Senior Program Manager on the Council on Environmental Quality in the Executive Office of the President implementing federal energy and sustainability policy. At CEQ, he successfully negotiated accounting practices for renewable energy generation and greenhouse gas emissions across the federal government.
The Beneficial Electrification League is a not-for-profit organization bringing together a diverse group of organizations that support universal acceptance for beneficial electrification as a necessary strategy to meet economic, consumer and environmental goals.
