TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) August 18, 2018
Benzer Pharmacy is honored to announce that it has been selected to appear on Inc. Magazine’s 2018 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. This year commemorates the 37th anniversary of the annual “Inc. 5000” program, and Benzer has made an appearance for the fourth time in a row.
According to official standings released by Inc., Benzer Pharmacy delivered another solid performance in 2018 earning 2638 position out of 5000. It’s a result that reminds Alpesh Patel, President of Benzer Pharmacy, of how far Benzer Pharmacy has come in a relatively short time and in fact, the growth of the organization remains a work in sustainable progress.
“When Benzer first made the Inc. 5000 list in 2015, we represented a chain of about 40 independent retail pharmacies. So, being ranked at 1500 was more a product of early momentum putting us on the map,” Patel said. “But what we’ve demonstrated with this latest accomplishment is that the brand has just as much staying power in the marketplace as it does growth potential.”
For proof, Patel points to the fact that there are now more than 65 corporate Benzer Pharmacy locations, along with approximately 25 franchisees, situated in 24 states across the country.
“That kind of success doesn’t happen by accident, nor does it happen overnight by any measure,” Patel continued. “What it shows is that Benzer is doing things the right way, building trust between our employees, healthcare partners, and the communities they serve. If things continue to play out as they have, there’s every reason to believe we will be listed on the Inc. 5000 for many years to come.”
The Inc. 5000 list represents one of the most prestigious rankings of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. So, making the cut is something truly worth celebrating, as James Ledbetter, Inc. Editor-in-Chief, suggests: “If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice. The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”
Eligibility for ranking consideration requires each entrant to be a U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent company, which must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2014, continuing through December 31, 2017. In a statement accompanying the announcement, Inc. reports the 2018 Inc. 5000 achieved “an astounding three-year average growth of 538.2 percent … accounting for 664,095 jobs over the past three years.”
“Naturally, all of us at Benzer Pharmacy are proud to be mentioned in such distinguished company,” Patel reasoned. “Congratulations go out to every organization joining us on this year’s Inc. 5000 list.”
