Benzer Pharmacy’s best and brightest employees continue to shine under the bright lights of the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). This time around, the company is proud to recognize Kaitlyn Doyle, Accreditation Coordinator; and Wendy Cavanaugh, Director of Quality, on their efforts to earn ACHC certification as providers of consulting services.
According to Noah Chapman, COO of Benzer Pharmacy, Wendy and Kaitlyn deserve all the credit for making it through the intensive training program without letting up on their individual responsibilities in the slightest.
The ACHC Consultant Certification program is designed for consultants who prepare healthcare providers for ACHC accreditation. The program is instructed by ACHC Clinical Compliance Educators who have extensive experience operating healthcare organizations, surveying to ACHC standards, and leading accreditation workshops.
“ACHC Consultant Certification program can be seen as an outgrowth of the organization’s commitment to providing the best customer experience possible,” Chapman explained. “both, Kate and Wendy completed the program without missing a beat on the job, that itself is a testament to their personal integrity as it is to the professional values of Benzer.”
That’s the view of Benzer Pharmacy President Alpesh Patel, who suggested that having ACHC certified consultants like Doyle and Cavanaugh on-staff raises the bar for other staff members at affiliated pharmacies and franchise locations throughout the system.
“By investing significant resources into the accreditation process, Benzer is working to ensure that patients enjoy access to the kinds of quality consulting services that inevitably produce better outcomes,” he reasoned. “The ACHC program is designed to prepare our consultants to do just that. The process is fair and balanced, but it is also meant to be strenuously applied according to national regulations for compliance.”
On behalf of Benzer Pharmacy, many thanks go out to both Kaitlyn and Wendy for “leading by example.”
