Benzer Pharmacy Hires New Executive To Implement 340B Programs
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) October 26, 2015 -- Benzer Pharmacy has hired Ryan Rushing, a business development expert, to the new position of Director of New Business Development and 340B Programs.
Ryan, whose hiring was announced Monday October 26, 2015, will help Benzer Pharmacy implement 340B programs. 340B is a U.S federal government program that utilizes drug manufacturer discounts to provide outpatient medications to eligible health care organizations/covered entities at significantly reduced prices.
Ryan has held leadership roles within store operations, specialty pharmacy sales, and business development. “The demand for specialty medications has increased dramatically and I am excited to join Benzer, the nation’s fastest growing chain retail and specilaty pharmacy,” Ryan states.
“Through 340B program partnerships, we plan to provide access to valuable drug discounts with a focus on regulatory compliance. Ryan brings tremendous experience in the specialty pharmacy market including, managed care contracting, direct-to-payer relationship development, and government pharmacy programs, like 340B and Ryan White. “I bring with me over thirteen years of progressive leadership and demonstrated success growing sales, developing a solid customer base and launching new products and services into the marketplace,” he adds.
