Berry Sleepy Officially Goes Vegan
Prairie Village, KS (PRWEB) May 28, 2014 -- With a name like “Berry Sleepy", one would expect the natural sleep aid to be vegan friendly. Now, it’s official. Berry Sleepy announced it was recently certified vegan by the nonprofit organization Vegan Action.
“Most people are very wary of sleep aids. Our goal is to showcase Berry Sleepy as a safe and healthy option for consumers. That made going through the certification process with Vegan Action a no-brainer,” said Berry Sleepy partner, Greg Doring.
The product was invented by Greg and his wife Adrienne. Two tired young parents who were wary of many sleep aids’ addictive chemicals and potentially harmful effects. After doing research and working with pharmacists and nutrition experts, the couple launched the natural sleep remedy in January of 2013.
Berry Sleepy is comprised entirely of three fruits contained inside a vegetarian capsule. Passion Fruit, Goji Berry and Tart Cherry are all known for their ability to calm, relax and induce sleep. Those taking Berry Sleepy find that it naturally supports falling asleep faster, staying asleep longer and waking up refreshed with no grogginess.
“In the past I have taken an over-the-counter sleeping aid, but if I took it too late, I would be in a fog the next morning. The first time I took Berry Sleepy, it was after midnight, and I slept the whole night through! When my kids woke me, I was able to wake up and begin my day with no fog!” said Emily Schaffhausen of Overland Park, KS.
Berry Sleepy continues the work of building its case as a healthy option in sleep aids. In addition to the new vegan certification, Berry Sleepy is also currently in the process of Non-GMO Verification through Non-GMO Project.
