Bessel Announces Partnership with Blackhawke Behavior Science
Blackhawke brings deep teamwork expertise and practical tools, including its Entrepreneurship Value Profile, to Bessel Origin's fall program for recent college graduates.
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bessel, the creator of Bessel Origin, today announced its partnership with Blackhawke Behavior Science. Through this partnership, Bessel Origin participants will have access to Blackhawke's Entrepreneurship Value Profile (EVP), an online assessment tool that measures psychological and behavioral traits underlying entrepreneurial performance. The EVP is designed to help key players within the entrepreneurial ecosystem predict and anticipate the success and challenges of both individual entrepreneurs and startup teams.
Bessel Origin, which officially begins in September, is a ten-week project-based learning program that provides hands-on work experience to college students and recent college graduates. Participants work in small teams and have the opportunity to work on purpose-driven, real-world projects that both improve society and impact the environment. Projects are sourced from employers, Bessel, and the community itself. The program fees for the Fall Bessel Origin program are fully underwritten by employers, so there will be no cost for qualified applicants.
Prior to the start of the Fall cohort, Bessel Origin participants will receive a link to access the EVP assessment, which includes questions about attitudes, behavioral tendencies and preferences. The EVP assessment measures psychological traits that predict behavioral performance in eight pillars of entrepreneurship: vision and strategy; execution and operations; direction and influence; problem-solving and decision-making; collaboration and allyship; willpower and initiative; innovation and resourcefulness; and tenacity.

Plus, they'll have the option to share their results with their cohort to better understand their team dynamics.
