Companies are responding to the huge increase in demand for talent by focusing on becoming a place employees love to work. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of job openings increased to 10.7 million on the last business day of September, 2022. The companies that are released in the Most Loved Workplaces lists published by Newsweek represent both what American and British companies are doing to compete for talent.
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Nov. 4, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Best Practice Institute (BPI) has completed its 2022 Most Loved Workplace® certification program, culminating in the publication of America's Top 100 and the U.K.'s Top 100 Most Loved Workplace lists in Newsweek Magazine. Now going into its 3rd year, the annual program identifies the top companies where employees are happiest and most satisfied at work. The initiative will include a list of the top 100 Most Loved Workplaces, along with profiles of the winners, that will appear in an October issue of Newsweek, as well as other articles based on the research and ongoing conversations with CEOs and CHROs of the top companies.
Over 300 companies achieved their Most Loved Workplace certifications in 2022, meaning they scored within the threshold needed in the five areas measured in the Love of Workplace Index™ Pulse Validation Survey. The results were determined after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. Of those companies, those that rank in the Top 100 for their respective locations is published in the annual Newsweek Magazine issues. The lists recognize the top companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

Dell Technologies was the #1 company on America's Most Loved Workplaces® list in 2022, while Virgin Atlantic Airways placed #1 on the U.K. list. The list includes companies such as Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Ally, ChenMed, A&E Networks, TaylorMade Golf Company, Selfridges, PerkinElmer, among others.

Methodology
To become certified, companies were evaluated and scored as follows: 35 percent of the initial score was based on employee survey responses; 25 percent was derived from analysis of external public ratings from sites such as Comparably, Careerbliss, Glassdoor, Indeed and Google; and 40 percent came from direct interviews with and written responses from company officials. With Newsweek, additional research was conducted into every company on the list to determine the final list of 100 companies and their ranking.
