Access Development Recognized by the Families and Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) June 06, 2017 -- Engagement and loyalty leader Access Development has received a 2017 When Work Works Award for exemplary workplace practices. The award was presented from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as part of its When Work Works project, a national initiative that helps employers become more successful by transforming the way they view and adopt effective and flexible workplaces.
Access received the award based on its flexible work arrangements available to each of its 150 employees. These include work from home options, compressed work weeks, paid parental leave, generous paid time off, and a reserve time off bank for emergencies and unexpected prolonged absences. Access was also noted for its workplace culture and approach to employee development and growth.

The award is earned after a rigorous assessment that emphasizes the real-life experiences of employees and incorporates national benchmarks of employer practices from the National Study of Employers and the employee experiences from the National Study of the Changing Workforce. Two-thirds of an organization’s winning score is based on a survey of its employees.
