Best Western Introduces Google Wallet Integration to Simplify Booking Process
Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) April 11, 2014 -- Best Western International today announced that it is streamlining the hotel booking process by working with Google to allow guests to pay for their stay using Google Wallet. The brand will integrate Google Wallet within the Android version of its popular “Best Western To Go®” application and mobile website viewed through a browser on any device, allowing customers to seamlessly complete their reservation through this safe and secure platform.
By adopting Google Wallet, Best Western is reducing the amount of steps consumers need to take to complete a mobile reservation. Once a customer selects their hotel within the Best Western mobile app or mobile website, they can complete their reservation using the “Buy with Google” button. Google Wallet lets users purchase on mobile apps and sites in as few as two clicks. Users can easily create a Google Wallet account to get started. Google Wallet users can use the service to book a hotel stay globally at any of the brand’s more than 4,000 hotels.
This announcement comes on the heels of Best Western becoming the first hotel brand to launch Google Maps Business View for all its North American hotels. The 360-degree photos powered by Google Street View technology allow travelers to virtually explore a hotel with just a few clicks before booking.
