REDDING, Calif., April 2, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bethel School of Technology is pleased to announce it has been recognized as a recipient of a Best Value College Alternative Award. Granted by University Research & Review LLC, the inaugural award was given to fifteen organizations offering non-degree tech programs.
Speaking on behalf of University Research & Review, founder L. Joseph Schmoke said they picked a select group of schools who were reasonably priced, in the "skill school" sector, and provided their students high chances of post-school success, something traditional colleges have been struggling to achieve.
Bethel School of Technology is a faith-based, nine-month online technology bootcamp that specializes in the high-demand areas of Software Development, Data Science, and UI/UX Design. Graduates have been hired by leading companies such as IBM, Dell, Infosys, Grubhub, Ramsey Solutions, and Seattle Children's Hospital. Additionally, Bethel Tech's programs transfer as 27 college credits into William Jessup University.
"When we started, our aim was to create pathways to gainful employment in the tech sector for a fraction of the time and cost of a four-year degree," said Ryan Collins, Bethel School of Technology's CEO. "In the past three years, we've seen our grads, who had little to no tech background before starting our program, land jobs at some of the top companies in the world."
Bethel Tech COO Johanna Wilson added, "This award is a testament to the hard work we do everyday in providing best-in-class technical and soft skills training, creating a healthy student experience, and preparing our students for the workforce."
