Beverly Hills Hair Transplant Surgeon Unveils a New Concept in Hair Restoration: FUE Transplant for Total Evenness

According to Dr. Mohebi, "Total evenness is growing in popularity among patients suffering from male patterned baldness (MPB). This is a condition where a patient loses hair on areas of the scalp prone to baldness such as the front, top and crown area. The hair on the back and sides, AKA the donor areas, is normally preserved with much higher density which creates a contrast between the balding and donor areas."
When asked how the issue of contrast can be addressed, Dr. Mohebi replied, "FUE for total evenness is an effective way to minimize the contrast between the donor and recipient areas." He went on to say "contrast matters because most people do not want others to know they had a hair transplant procedure. A sharp contrast prevents the appearance of a full head of hair and just calls attention to the fact that a person has undergone a hair transplant."
Dr. Mohebi went on to say FUE for total evenness "reduces the contract between the donor and recipient area in a strategic and extensive manner. Harvesting hair should be considered carefully and the number of hairs per graft needs to be taken into account during each pass of the transplant procedure. For example, an early harvest of the grafts, using a higher number of hairs per graft, can create a lower density on the donor area while maximizing hair needed in the restoration of other areas."
