Bigger Than Before: New Report from Package Concierge® Finds Properties Processing Nearly 50 Percent More Packages Than in 2019
Provider of Automated Locker Solution Shares Insights on Package Delivery in Multifamily Landscape over the Past Two Years

The report, which analyzes how its more than 2,000 multifamily properties are processing packages in comparison to previous years, found the average building is already managing nearly 50 percent more packages than the full year of 2019, before the pandemic. Americans continue to be shopping online more than ever before and the trend has not subsided with the vaccine roll out; meaning properties will continue to see a record number of packages in the coming months.
"While last year's package numbers were sky high being in the middle of the pandemic, we've seen these trends remain at levels traditionally only experienced during the holiday shopping season, even in light of the optimism around declining case numbers and the vaccine earlier this year," said Donna Logback, Marketing Director for Package Concierge®. The report also notes that properties with automated solutions managed over 68 percent more packages in Q2 of this year than in the pre-pandemic times of Q2 2019. Even further, buildings managed over 10 percent more packages this year than Q2 2020, during the height of stay-at-home orders.
