BigHand Caps Off Record Year of Growth
CHICAGO (PRWEB) May 01, 2018 -- With the close of the fiscal year on March 31, 2018, BigHand North America recorded a record year for revenue. This came on the heels of the prestigious ILTA 2017 Legal Technology Survey naming BigHand the number one digital dictation solution as well as the number one document macro and template software.
The record year can be partly attributed to the best-ever sales of the BigHand Produce suite of products which include BigHand Create, BigHand Hyperstyles and BigHand DocID. Recent changes in the marketplace, as well as the increasing number of firms upgrading to Windows 10 / Office 2016 have been the impetus for firms to seek out the award-winning BigHand Create solution, as it is Windows 10 and Office 2016 compatible, as well as 32 and 64-bit compliant. In addition, because BigHand Create is architected differently than most other products on the market, using a central database to manage information and code-free templates, firms appreciate the time-saving benefit when making standardized changes to templates. The changes only need to be made once and not within every single template.
Another factor playing into the record year is the uptick in sales of BigHand Now, including strategic relationships with leading law firm service providers, Integreon and Epiq, who are adopting the tool to better enable their legal support teams to manage work with their law firm customers. Also, several large firms have made the decision to implement BigHand Now as well, realizing the enormous impact of having visibility into the work their back-office support teams handle and the benefits of having data to drive effective resource alignment and ROI.
Eric Wangler, President, BigHand North America comments, “The past 12 months have marked a banner year for BigHand and we are very proud of our accomplishments as well as the recognition we have received. Our top priority is providing the highest quality products and services to our customers, so recognition by the 500+ firms participating in the ILTA 2017 Legal Technology Survey is quite an honor.” Wangler continues, ”While we’re pleased with our results this past year, we’re not slowing down a bit. The acquisition of DW Reporting, the leading provider of legal financial reporting, business intelligence (BI) and matter pricing solutions in early April reinforces our commitment to supporting our law firm clients in achieving operational excellence.”
BigHand will be attending and exhibiting at the 2018 ALA Annual Conference & Expo May 3-5th, in National Harbor, MD. Eric Wangler, and James Kippenberger, Managing Director, Product Strategy and Innovation, will be presenting a Business Matters session titled, “Demystifying Your Back Office Management with Technology”, in which they will discuss the tangible results of firms that are combining workflow with operational analytics to manage their back office processes.
