New BigID App Pushes BigID Data Findings Into ServiceNow CMDB for APM and GRC

BigID, the leader in data discovery and intelligence for privacy, protection and perspective, today announced an app for pushing BigID data discovery and intelligence findings into ServiceNow CMDB to provide deeper data insights for ServiceNow applications, including Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

Now available in the ServiceNow Store, joint customers can leverage BigID’s data classification and catalog findings directly into ServiceNow CMDB to help with greater data privacy and protection awareness inside ServiceNow.

The BigID Data Exchange App takes IT asset information from the ServiceNow CMDB, and then classifies and catalogs the data inside those assets before pushing the findings back into ServiceNow CMDB. These insights can now be used by ServiceNow application modules like APM and GRC to provide deeper data awareness and simplify data privacy, compliance, risk management, and security while building resilience using ServiceNow.

Joint customers can leverage the BigID Data Exchange App for ServiceNow to:
1.     Find IT assets to scan from ServiceNow CMDB
2.     Find, classify and catalog data inside data stores
3.     Push privacy and risk metadata into ServiceNow CMDB to power APM and GRC
4.     Enrich ServiceNow data asset profiles inside CMDB
5.     Push data insight into ServiceNow from data stores like Snowflake & Cassandra
