Bill's passion for multisport competition translated into two World Record performances in the ESPN MET-Rx championships for 1998-99 held at the San Diego Velodrome. Over a decade later, Sickert challenged the field of 1200 athletes at the Spring Sprint Duathlon in San Diego California and won the 2011 championship overall at age 51. 2016 was a monumental win at the RAAM Race Across America as managing crew member for the team that won the race. The experience manifested in 2018 by setting the world record and course record with the team. At 56, he returned to his love of motocross after finding and restoring his original racing bike from 1977. The competitive motorcycle passion returned and led to winning the 2018 Cahuilla Grand Prix in his 450cc class in California.
Tri credentialed in business, law and nutrition; Bill was the recipient of the prestigious West Publishing Award in 1996 for law school academic performance leading to his Summa Cum Laude graduation.
