Billy Johnson Insurance Agency Announces Atlanta Area Charity Event to Benefit Nonprofit Breast Cancer Support Group
Roswell, GA (PRWEB) September 13, 2016 -- Billy Johnson Insurance Agency, an Atlanta area insurance and financial planning firm that provides services to businesses and residences in and around Fulton and Cherokee Counties, is launching a charity effort to provide support to the Breast Cancer Support Group, a locally managed nonprofit.
Led by Georgia native and cancer survivor April Sutton, the Breast Cancer Support Group provides emotional support, empowerment, and peer counseling to women facing breast cancer. Now the largest survivor-led breast cancer support organization in Georgia, BCSG also works to provide current breast cancer information to minorities and medically underserved women in the region.
“Every year, more than 200,000 new cases of breast cancer are discovered in the US, and we’re initiating this charity drive with the Breast Cancer Support Group to help Georgia women struggling with breast cancer,” says Billy Johnson, owner and manager of the Billy Johnson Insurance Agency.
To gather support throughout the local community, Johnson and his team are focusing efforts on a broad social media campaign and utilizing an email update system to connect with Georgia residents.
